Towards an Ethical Praxis in Early Childhood: Interview with Chris Pascal
Posted 11th October 2017
Christine Pascal, President of EECERA, presents the Towards an Ethical Praxis in Early Childhood book series.
Texts in this series reflect a strong shift internationally towards the development of a strengthened knowledge base for practice in early childhood education and care. Researchers are also increasingly expected to demonstrate the impact of their work and its contribution to the social, economic and educational life of society.
Hear from one of the series editor, Chris Pascal, who explains the innovative concept of praxis and why the books in the series are an important contribution towards creating a reflective evidence-based practice.
In this short video, filmed at the 2017 EECERA conference in Bologna by Routledge, Chris explores how this exciting early childhood education series came about and looks to the future, outlining the forthcoming titles in the series and invites potential contributors to get involved:
Current books in the series include:
• Pathways to Professionalism in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Assessment and Evaluation for Transformation in Early Childhood
The newest in the series, Young Children Playing and Learning in a Digital Age, is now available to pre-order.
