ECCERA Narratives – How we grow together

By Irene Gunning- EECERA Board of Trustees

We’re launching a new EECERA blog, and we’d love you to be part of it.  As you can imagine, people share with us the most amazing stories of how EECERA has affected and continues to impact their lives, both personally and professionally.

We know that the EECERA holds different meanings for different individuals. Whether you’re a researcher, teacher, lecturer, student, policymaker, or leader in early childhood education, we invite you to share a personal narrative about what EECERA has meant to you. You might write about presenting new ideas, finding mentors or collaborators, a conference moment that shifted your thinking, how the network supported a project or policy, or how belonging to EECERA has sustained you professionally or personally.

Whether it’s sharing cutting-edge research or it’s a supportive network that has shaped careers, sparked ideas, or created lifelong friendships, we love to hear all about it.  We’re gathering personal narratives from our members and conference delegates’ stories of how EECERA has supported you. Our community is diverse and growing.

Would you be willing to share your experience?  You can respond in any format that suits you. Tell us your story in your own words. Alternatively, you can simply get in touch with me, and we’ll discuss it further. We may lightly edit for clarity and length.
